豪州の4WDアクション誌が、日産PATROL（サファリの輸出名）を「BEST 4WD of 2008」に選んだそうです。
Nissan's legendary Patrol turbo-diesel has come out on top of a field of highly fancied competitors to be voted 'Best 4WD of 2008' in Australian 4WD Action magazine's Peoples Choice Award.
The Patrol saw off four competitors in the first round of testing in the Northern Territory before moving to Central Australia for the final round where it was pitted against the new Toyota Landcruiser.
ただ、『BEST 4WD of 2008』に選ばれたのは、３．０リッターディーゼルターボエンジン搭載車ですが。。(^^;
